Toyota: Car production won’t be back to normal until at least November
Toyota’s global car production, disrupted by parts shortages from Japan’s earthquake and tsunami, won’t return to normal until November or December — imperiling its spot as the world’s top-selling automaker.

Top Gear are calling it “big news for small cars”, which seems quite fitting when we are talking about the classic 1960′s Peel P50 – the world’s smallest car. It’s the perfect car on a crowded street and it would certainly come in handy when trying to find a parking space, but being designed to accommodate one adult and a shopping bag it might not be the best car for a shopaholic.

“The Back To The Future films were classics in their own right” reports Suite101.com, but the car they chose was something even more legendary. Saab claim to be “bringing quirky back” reports PistonHeads.com, through the revamp of the classic 99/900, which is inspiring the creation of the new 9-3. It can be argued that Saab is also bringing sexy back using the spirit of the old Saab and utilising its “quirky roots”.
